The Pro Boxing League® (PBL), organized by the Indian Professional Boxing Association (IPBA), aims to elevate Indian boxing by creating a professional franchise-based league.
Founded by Shahe Ali, the PBL provides crucial competitive experience and exposure, developing local talent into international stars. The league is a significant initiative built in association with major global bodies: the World Boxing Council (WBC), World Boxing Association (WBA), World Boxing Organization (WBO), and the International Boxing Federation (IBF).
With matches spanning various weight classes for men and women, the league serves as a stepping stone for boxers to compete globally and even at the Olympics, creating new role models and boosting the sport's popularity across the nation.
